Information we use

We collect contact details, application responses and correspondence when you apply or contact us; member and event information where relevant; order, delivery and payment information when you shop; reviews and feedback you submit; and technical information about use of the site and cookie choices. Payment providers process payment information.

Why we use it

We use order and delivery details to fulfil purchases and handle returns (performance of a contract). We use application information to consider your request and communicate with you (steps requested before a potential contract and our legitimate interest in managing applications). We use member information to administer membership and communicate about events (contract and legitimate interests). We retain records for tax and other legal obligations. We use information to respond to enquiries, maintain security and improve services where we have a legitimate interest in doing so. Where consent is required, we rely on consent for optional cookies or marketing; you can withdraw consent at any time.

Who receives information

We use Squarespace for our website and forms, Notion for application records, email providers for correspondence, payment providers to process payments, and Tapstitch and delivery providers to fulfil clothing orders. We do not share application details for introductions without your permission. Providers may use sub-processors. We may disclose information where required by law.

International processing

Some service providers process information outside the UK. Squarespace and Notion describe their international transfer arrangements in their data processing terms, including applicable UK contractual safeguards. For details of the destination and safeguards applicable to a particular transfer, contact us.

How long we keep information

Unsuccessful applications are deleted within 24 months, or sooner. If you join, we keep membership information while needed to administer membership and for up to 24 months after it ends, subject to any longer period required for legal obligations or a specific dispute. Transaction and accounting records are retained longer where required by law. We keep other information only as long as needed for the relevant purpose, considering legal obligations and potential disputes.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct, erase, restrict or receive a portable copy of your personal information. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and object to direct marketing at any time. You can withdraw consent where we rely on it. These rights are not absolute. Squarespace uses necessary cookies to operate the website, including checkout and security. Optional cookies may be used for analytics and other site features. Use the cookie banner to accept, decline or manage optional cookies, and use Cookie Preferences to change your choice. Third-party services may use their own cookies; their behaviour depends on the services enabled.

These terms apply to purchases of goods through this website. Product descriptions, prices, delivery charges and available payment methods are shown before you place your order. Please check your order and delivery details before paying. We will confirm your order by email.

We currently offer standard shipping to the United Kingdom at £4.99 per order. Applicable delivery restrictions and charges are shown during checkout. Unless another delivery period is agreed with you, we will deliver within 30 days of entering the contract. If an item is unavailable or we cannot fulfil your order, we will contact you and refund any payment due. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS

For most online orders, you may cancel without giving a reason from the time you order until 14 days after you receive your goods (or the last item in your order). Email obenham@club86.co.uk with your name and order details, or write to our registered office. You may use the model cancellation wording below, but do not have to.

After telling us you wish to cancel, send the goods back within 14 days. Contact us for return instructions and the return address. You must pay the direct cost of returning goods when you cancel because you changed your mind. Keep proof of postage.

We refund the goods and standard outbound delivery charge, where applicable, within 14 days of receiving the goods back or evidence of return, whichever is earlier. If you selected more expensive delivery, we refund only standard delivery. We may reduce a refund for loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods as you would in a shop. Trying clothing on is permitted.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods: email us with your order details and we will help resolve the problem. Your statutory rights, including rights to a refund, repair or replacement where applicable, are unaffected. We cover reasonable return costs for faulty or incorrect goods.
